Skills Development

Practical learning for useful, applicable skills

Blueprint designs skills programmes around participant needs, organisational goals and the realities of the delivery setting. We combine structured learning with practical activities and assessment appropriate to the agreed programme.

Learning areas we can discuss

Digital and ICT skills

Practical use of digital tools and technology, with content adapted to participants’ starting points and goals.

Vocational and technical skills

Hands-on activities that build capability through demonstration, practice and feedback.

Entrepreneurship and employability

Learning that supports business readiness, workplace preparation and the application of existing skills.

Workforce readiness

Tailored capacity development for employees, teams or participant groups preparing for work-related responsibilities.

Start with the learner and the outcome

We discuss who the programme is for, what participants should be able to do, and what resources or access considerations may affect delivery. That informs the curriculum, practical activities, facilitator requirements, schedule and assessment plan.

Delivery may be in person, digital or hybrid, depending on the content, participants and available facilities. The format is confirmed for each engagement.

A training engagement can include

  • Needs assessment and an agreed programme brief.
  • Curriculum, session plan and practical activities.
  • Facilitation and coordination of agreed delivery arrangements.
  • Attendance records, learning assessment and participant feedback.
  • A completion report with agreed recommendations or next steps.

The final scope, assessment approach and any post-programme support are defined in the proposal.

Common training questions

Can you tailor training for our organisation?
Yes. We begin with your participant group, learning goals and operational context, then discuss a suitable programme scope.
Are public courses currently open?
Current dates, places and eligibility must be confirmed for each programme. You can express interest, and Blueprint can contact you if a relevant opportunity becomes available.
Will participants receive a certificate?
Any completion documentation or qualification is specified for the particular programme. Please confirm the certificate type and any accreditation before enrolling or commissioning training.
Do programmes guarantee employment?
Employment and business outcomes depend on factors beyond training. Any placement or additional support must be explicitly included in the programme scope.
